Destino del Reino is a home where children are nurtured and loved and prepared for adulthood. They are not only provided with food, clothing and shelter, but also with education and job training, enabling them to provide for their own families in the future. Through training in the Word of God, they discover the personal hope they have in Jesus Christ and are prepared to return to their villages as leaders with a destiny of hope.

Destino del Reino, located 15 miles north of Siguatepeque, Honduras, provides the children with basic needs, bilingual education and spiritual knowledge, in an atmosphere of Christ-like, they are nurture, love and prepared. The facility consists a 2 family-styled house, two guest houses, a church, dental clinic, kindergarten elementary, junior and high school, and a lodge for pastoral training camps

Children’s Home

Destino del Reino initially began as a children’s home. God cast the vision of this home through the stories of Moses, Joseph, Daniel, Shadrach, Meshack and Abednego, Esther, Samuel, and even David. God had taken all of those children and separated them from their families and prepared them for great leadership. Our desire is that the children will grow up with the understanding that God has personally selected each of them to be separated from their parents for a period of time so they can be used for His kingdom work and leadership and to bring hope to their own people. Christian School

In order to provide a free education for the 350+ children of the Destino del Reino school, we need a sponsor for each student. Sponsorships cost $60 per month and are needed year round because of Honduran salary schedules and because uniforms and materials are purchased during vacation months. The generous support of sponsors provides not only books, uniforms, vitamins, and Honduran teachers’ salaries, but a hot meal for each child every day. Each sponsor is assigned a particular child, and will receive a picture with the child’s grade and name. We request that sponsors pray regularly for their child by name.

Updates About Destino

I had five of my children graduate from college last week. It is amazing that God has provided the funds to send them to private Christian college in the United States and we are debt free. We need prayer for future plans for the other children in my home. We are probably going to start sending the future kids to Honduran universities in the future as there are many more opportunities here than were offered just a few years ago.
