Destino del Reino is a home where children are nurtured and loved and prepared for adulthood. They are not only provided with food, clothing and shelter, but also with education and job training, enabling them to provide for their own families in the future. Through training in the Word of God, they discover the personal hope they have in Jesus Christ and are prepared to return to their villages as leaders with a destiny of hope.

Destino del Reino, located 15 miles north of Siguatepeque, Honduras, provides the children with basic needs, bilingual education and spiritual knowledge, in an atmosphere of Christ-like love and compassion. The facility when completed will consist of six family-style houses, a guest house for parental visitation, a church, dental clinic, elementary and junior and high schools and vocational training centers.

The theme verse for Destino points to our prayer for these kids:

“Fear not little flock, for it is the Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom”. -Luke 12:32

Another prayer request

Hey Everyone,
This will be quick (that is a change, I know), but we really need prayer for another teacher for our English classes.   We need an American to come and teach with Heather, the 4-K and kindergarten and first grade English classes.  They don’t have to have teaching experience but creativity and pretty good Spanish background.  If you know anyone that may be interested, let me know as soon as possible.  We would love to have them come right after Christmas, if possible and they would need to raise about $400 a month for expenses and also enough for their flights here.  We provide room and utilities, and transportation, etc.
Thanks for praying and we are standing firm KNOWING that God has a perfect plan for the school.  Pray for Heather as she covers the classes right now.  She will really learn her Spanish quickly now.
Love to everyone and I will write more next week.  Thanks for praying.  Times have been the hardest we have ever seen at Destino del Reino but the Spirit is renewing us and teaching us and we just need to hang in there and look to Him for whatever He wants to teach us and to do in us, as well as what is just plain old spiritual warfare.
We love you and praise God for the way you pray us for these many battles.
In His grace,
Rhonda
