Destino del Reino is a home where children are nurtured and loved and prepared for adulthood. They are not only provided with food, clothing and shelter, but also with education and job training, enabling them to provide for their own families in the future. Through training in the Word of God, they discover the personal hope they have in Jesus Christ and are prepared to return to their villages as leaders with a destiny of hope.

Destino del Reino, located 15 miles north of Siguatepeque, Honduras, provides the children with basic needs, bilingual education and spiritual knowledge, in an atmosphere of Christ-like, they are nurture, love and prepared. The facility consists of a 2 family-styled house, two guest houses, a church, dental clinic, kindergarten elementary, junior and high school, and a lodge for pastoral training camps.

The them of Destino del Reino is: Luke 12:32

“Fear not little flock, for it is the Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom”.

Thank you for your prayers for my family.  My sister, Dana, went to be with
the Lord Jesus yesterday.   It is so shocking and we are struggling but we
know that God is always good even when it doesn’t feel good.  He is perfect
in all His ways.   Pray for my parents and her husband and 7 children
especially.  They need to trust God for His new mercies and grace each day
and not be afraid of the loneliness of tomorrow.  I have never experienced
anything like this — we are all hurting so much and it is hard to comfort
the others that I love when all of us are aching so deeply.  She was a
wonderful sister and servant of the Lord and we are so grateful and
rejoicing for her but for us it is very difficult.   All is well at Destino
and Carlos and I will return on Tuesday morning.  The visitation is at 6:00
tonight at Platt’s and the funeral is tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. at Kiokee
Baptist Church.  Please keep us in your prayers.
We are fragile right now but He is STRONG.
Love you all so very much,
Rhonda
